An agreement between a Provider and a Consumer is known as a Contract, which serves to govern and permit the usage of one or more instances of a Service. The attributes of the Service Instances to be supplied are derived from a particular version of the Service. The Contract has its own unique lifecycle and includes additional attributes and logic that fall beyond the scope of the Gaia-X Architecture Document.
