Clickstream Analytics

Glossary Page

A form of web analytics, clickstream analysis involves tracking and analyzing user visits to websites. While there are other methods to gather this data, clickstream analysis commonly utilizes web server log files to monitor and measure website activity. This analysis provides insights into user behavior within a specific website, including navigation patterns, user engagement (stickiness), traffic sources, and exit destinations. It also enables aggregate measurements such as hits (visits), page views, and unique and repeat visitors, which are valuable for understanding the website's technical performance, user experience, and business aspects.
