Operational Expenditures

Operating expenses relate to the current costs incurred for functioning business operations. In contrast, capital expenditures are made for long-term fixed assets. OPEX therefore includes expenses such as raw materials, supplies, personnel, leasing and energy. These costs are recognized in full in the balance sheet.
