Demand and Capacity Management (DCM)
Glossary Page
Demand and Capacity Management involve various activities, measures, and systems that address proactive bottleneck prevention and the treatment of identified bottlenecks within a tactical time frame of n+2 to n+26 months. It is important to note that capacity management should not be confused with supply assurance, which encompasses activities, measures, and systems that ensure on-time delivery of end products within an operational horizon of up to 10 weeks from production.
